Lily Sande is a multimedia illustrator living in Durango, Colorado. Her work primarily features human-animal hybrid characters, and is influenced by animation and comics. Currently, she is finishing a Bachelor’s of Art in Studio Art at Fort Lewis College. At FLC, she has been featured in multiple gallery shows, including Adding to the Conversation in 2025 and the 65th Annual Juried Student Exhibition in 2026.

Lily also writes and illustrates Chimera’s Blood, a horror/mystery webcomic. Set in the Pacific Northwest in the 1980s, the story follows a group of teenagers seeking the cure to a monstrous ailment as well as the detectives that are on their trail. The comic is free-to-read and updates with a new page every Wednesday. The comic also received a limited print run of its first chapter in 2026, funded by FLC’s undergraduate research grants.
